He has a long history of success impacting the political and policy process in a wide range of issue areas, including energy and climate, procurement, infrastructure development, labor and trade. Reed Eckhold joined the Wessel Group from Capitol Hill, having developed extensive experience in policy analysis with an emphasis in economic and defense policy, strategic communications and congressional affairs. Brett Gibson brings more than 20 years of experience in trade, manufacturing, industrial policy, and international relations to the Wessel Group. Prior to joining the Wessel Group, Brett served as the Government Affairs Representative at the AFL-CIO on trade and manufacturing from 2006 to 2023, where he navigated issues through Congress and the Administration.
