He has a long history of success impacting the political and policy process in a wide range of issue areas, including energy and climate, procurement, infrastructure development, labor and trade. Brett Gibson brings more than 20 years of experience in trade, manufacturing, industrial policy, and international relations to the Wessel Group. Prior to joining the Wessel Group, Brett served as the Government Affairs Representative at the AFL-CIO on trade and manufacturing from 2006 to 2023, where he navigated issues through Congress and the Administration. Evan Wessel joined the firm after serving at the Department of Transportation as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Intergovernmental Affairs and as a Senior Advisor for Intergovernmental Affairs at the White House. Full biography is available here.

Reed Eckhold joined the Wessel Group from Capitol Hill, having served as Senior Policy Advisor to Rep. J. Randy Forbes (R-VA). Reed developed extensive experience in policy analysis with an emphasis in economic and defense policy, strategic communications and congressional affairs.
